The kids FINALLY got to sit on Santa's lap. They've waited and waited. And at the end of our ward Christmas party he made it. He found a place to park his sleigh and visited with all the children. Mine were pretty close to first in line, of course.
So what was their wish to Santa...
"REX HELMET"....
"PUPP IN A BAG"..."
Santa thought she said "puppy". Hopefully he doesn't get confused!!
"WOLVERINE GLOVES"
The good thing is they are staying consistent. :) This year should be a fantastic celebration for our family. It is my favorite time of year. The kids are looking forward to daddy being off work for awhile, Grandma and Grandpa Bushman coming to visit, and Grandma and Grandpa Rigby coming too. How much we have to be grateful for!
How fun! I'm glad they're being consistent! I'm also glad you will have such wonderful company for Christmas - Yay!
ReplyDeleteWe live in a ward with a lot of older people, there are also a fair amount of young families for this area, but the older ones are on the activities committee and haven't invited Santa to the ward party for the last several years. My personal opinion is that Santa stands for a lot of good things - one of them being giving to others. I don't think that because the kids are excited by him it means they don't know the true meaning of Christmas or that they are forgetting Christ. Oh well, that's just my little ole' opinion and I know everyone's different! Anyhow, Merry Christmas, Ho! Ho! Ho!
I heard there was a shortage on wolverine gloves!
