Different But Good

Getting use to the different entertainment here in Yuma.  On Saturday we attended an Arizona Western College football game. It was fun.  Smaller crowd than we're used to-definitely not Bronco crowds. But it was good entertainment and people seemed to be having a good time. Differnent but good.

Getting the house in order...buying flowers and YES, planting tomatos.  It's almost November and I just planted tomatos. Different, but bood.

We spoke in church on Sunday. Now we have a break for a year.  Got a calling....can't disclose just yet... :) Have to set up official play dates for the kids, and none of my friends scrapbook the old fashion way-its all digital down here.  Different but good.

All in all. Things are different...but GOOD. I am really starting to feel at home.

Getting use to Yuma

Well, we've been in Yuma for about a month now. The adjustment has been interesting. But for the most part a positive one. Madelyn has found friends at school that she talks about all the time. Though the first week I thought she would never survive, crying everytime I dropped her off. But now she acts like she's never been anywhere different. Marcus has made a good friend, Crayton, and they have fun together. Still haven't found anyone Brian's age but I think he's going to turn out to be a protector for one of my friend's little 21 month old girl. He does, however, miss Makayla VERY much.

I've found a few friends and aquaintances and Brent is kicking it in his new position. He loves it. Life so far is good.
