I'm not very creative but I did put together some chore charts for the kids. I took pictures of the kids doing the "chores" so it would be more visual for them. Then drew very crooked lines for the days of the week. When they accomplish their chore they get a check and the reward at the end is not only a happy mommy but allowance to go with it. And of course we'll be teaching them about SAVINGS...and TITHING.
I ended up attaching the boards to the wall and then tying the ribbon around the rod for effect. My plan is to put something on either side of the middle one for decoration. Any suggestions? A picture, a saying...what??
Up close you can see it's not perfect(and if you look hard enough you can see me taking the picture in the magnet reflection. hehe). But the kids think its great!
