Grandma And Grandpa Bushman Come to San Antonio

We got lucky again this year! Brent's parents were able to come visit for a couple weeks this fall. We got to show them some of the tourist attractions of the area, as well as have some fun downtime, playtime, and good 'ol re-acquaintance time.

A rundown of some of the main fun we had (in no particular order) :
*Fredericksberg
*New Braunfels
*Gruene
*Downtown, Alamo, Riverwalk/boat ride
*Corpus Christi
*Kerrville
*Celebrated Karen's Birthday   *Walks around the forest  *Baseball in the backyard  *Haunted Gingerbread Houses  *Halloween/Fall Sugar Cookies
*Don horribly sick :(
*Cutting down a tree
*Little Grettel, Casa Rio, Jason's Deli...
German Gifts

Fun in the backyard....

 Downtown/Alamo/Riverwalk/guided boat ride

Birthday Dinner(Crab/lobster stuffed Avacado with Mango Salsa)

Corpus Christi(I'll post a separate blog specifically for this trip...I can never narrow down beach pictures. They're all too fun)

On to Halloween...decorating Gingerbread Haunted Houses with Grandma and Grandpa

Lunch with the kids at school...it was pajama day.

And our first visit to the San Antonio Children's Museum...which we promptly bought season passes too. Its great. We were there for almost four hours and probably could have stayed longer.

 taking a "Titanic" break....lol, get it... :)

A science experiment with dry ice and something else...now I can't remember but it was cool. hahahaha. You can see how well my retention is.

And then sugar cookies with Grandma on Halloween...

And the big finale...CUTTING DOWN OUR UGLY TREE! YAY!!!

We had a great time with Don and Karen. The kids were sad when they left. Good byes are always hard. Thanks for coming and we'll see you again in a few months...
