COLLIN'S VISIT 2011

Ann and Don and family came to visit the great state of Texas for a week. They are no stranger to Texas as they have family in Fort Worth. But this was Ann's first time in San Antonio so we showed them a few of the touristy sights to give them an idea of our surroundings.

But of course, the trip wasn't complete without a girls day out. Ann turned the big ** this year. I think I will always have in my head that she is 23 years old...probably cuz that's how old she was when we met.
Some of the things we did....
*took Ann out to Casa Rio for her birthday...Riverwalk experience
*Park time, Cibolo Nature Center, dollar theater, swimming, Outdoor World
*Children's Museum of San Antonio
*Early Thanksgiving dinner

 Made Ann homemade apple pie and cookie brownies for her birthday. Also, gave her a scarf and we enjoyed a day of pedicures and shopping...lots and lots of shopping.

 After our pedicures, and shopping gallore we went back to the Omni and enjoyed a piece of chocolate cake. It was way too rich. Ate like a bite of that BUT I enjoyed my hot chocolate and homemade cinnamon marshmallows. Yuuuum :)

 Marcus had an early birthday celebration. The Collin's gave him some Beyblade stuff. He loves his Beyblades. And I think they figured out they need to buy some for Grandpa Noah...he was definitely into them....like really really really into them.

We didn't see everything a tourist needs to see. Ann said she'd "take our word for it". Happy 30th Birthday - you'll enjoy your thirties...Thanks for the visit :)
