We saw for the first time the little hummingbirds poking their heads out. I can't believe how small they are when they are babies. The nest is probably two inches in diameter and there are three babies(I believe), maybe four inside.
It's been fun to witness the different stages of life with these baby hummingbirds. Unfortunately for us, the party lights that the nest was built on don't work and we have had a set waiting to go up for a LOOOONG time....I hope sometime this summer we can change out the lights! For now we'll patiently wait.
