OLD PHOTO's uncovers a past life....

I decided to go through a cupboard of odds and ends today...I found all sorts of random pictures. And when I say random I mean RANDOM - from high school, to a year ago, and everything in between. Because my scanner is BROKEN I snapped a pic of a couple of pictures that surely brought back fond memories of a previous life....

AGGIETTES! Believe it or not I was a member of the Utah State University Spirit Squad from 1996-1999. We performed for the basketball and football halftimes, and lots of other things in between. I can honestly say it was THREE GREAT YEARS OF MY LIFE! We had a wonderful advisor and the girls that I danced with were fantastic!

 This picture is a second year picture...we had 12 girls on the team rather than the 14 like we did the first year I danced with the Aggiettes. I am third from the RIGHT with straight hair.

Same year but with the entire spirit squad MINUS Big Blue and one other Aggiette. I am third girl from the LEFT in the back on one of the cheerlearders back(basically middle back of pic). Good times, I might say.

I have to be honest...I haven't danced for YEARS. I haven't tried to choreograph anything for even longer. But I still randomly have nightmares of sleeping in and getting the dreaded phone call. Sometimes I even have nightmares that I've gone back, present day, trying to fit into the uniforms and dancing like I did before I had three kids. I'm sure a lot of the ladies that I danced with could do that NO PROBLEM. But I'm just gonna say it...it would be a HUGE problem for ME!!

I loved that life! It was good to me, it was fun, and it was adventurous. My life now is just the same - good to me, fun, and adventurous!
