August 9, 2010 - the first day of Second Grade for Madelyn. And the first day of KINDERGARTEN for Marcus! Wow. My kids are really growing up. Their teachers seem to be fantastic! I'm superly thrilled!

Outside the Kindergarten playground...a little small for Marcus but they only use it before school starts.
Madelyn in the courtyard...sniff sniff...she was EMBARRASSED that I was taking pictures. Oh, they grow up to fast!
And their classrooms. I am so excited about their teachers this year. They each are starting with a few friends in their classes so they are sure to meet many more! Especially with 30 kids in each of their classes. Gotta love open enrollment.
I'm so proud of both Madelyn and Marcus. Their teachers love having them in their classes. They love to learn, they are respectful to the teachers and to the other students. They listen and are so willing to help with anything that is asked of them. This year is going to be spectacular for both of them - I can feel it in my bones!!
Oh that makes me happy and sad...all at once! Our kiddos are growing up too fast...
